Bruce has progressed during his varied career in the electrical and building industry.

Electrical Contractor and Building Site Supervisor under the direct supervision of varied registered Building Contractors ie; small varied builders in Perth. 

Building works performed include, residential renovations, additions, including heritage listed properties. 

Commercial renovations, additions and fit-outs completed include;

• New Build (Tilt-Up Panel) Construction "Shopping Centre" in Kununurra, WA.

Bruce a former owner of a (Heritage Listed - 4 Level Apartment) "The Boans Warehouse" East Perth, purchased from FINI GROUP offered to purchase (off the plan) as a preferred subcontractor. After moving in, Bruce completed a "Heritage Renovation" adding a balcony facing North off the 4th Level of the Warehouse Apartment creating the only 4 level apartment with a private balcony. 

All approvals were achieved including; Strata Management, (E.P.R.A.=East Perth Redevelopment Authority) local council. Bruce was responsible for initial design, build specifications, engaging professional consultants; structural engineer and draftsman and subcontractors. Bruce also carried out additional cosmetic upgrades to the interior fit-out, including; lighting, video intercom, security system, air-conditioning, additional custom designed cabinetry, storage under existing stair case.  

The Boans Furniture Factory/Warehouse Apartment was featured in multiple magazines; (H&G) House & Garden magazine, West Australian Newspaper-Habitat Section: 2003, Australian Design Trends Magazine-Vol 14 No 2.

Bruce has gained valuable electrical, building and renovation experience, working in conjunction as a property development consultant and my wife's Interior Design Consultancy business (INTERIORS BY KEE) performing mid-high end renovations. It is imperative to have a knowledge of build products and suitability, building techniques, alternative build methods and how to think outside the square, as this is a requirement during the building process, but you can't buy this skill, you need to have worked i the construction industry for 40+ years to gain these skillsets and knowledge.

Bruce sought further study as a mature age student, having years of building experience and knowledge, completing a "Diploma" in Building & Construction-Medium Rise Construction via (HIA) 2016.

Bruce implemented his long term business plan and future career going forward;

A boutique renovation business, specializing in mid-high end clientele, exterior, interior, cosmetic, full additions and renovations featured in various magazines, newspapers and more.

Bruce was nominated by INTERIORS BY KEE as site supervisor and Electrical Contractor for various renovations or clients, working in conjunction and under the supervision of various appointed registered Building Contractors and Building Practitioners, prior to gaining formal qualifications as a reg. builder and reg. building practitioner, and this is what inspired Bruce to gain his Diploma qualications.

Since KEE DESIGN CONSTRUCT and KDC BUILDERS has been trading, INTERIORS BY KEE is the appointed: Interior Design Consultant to my companies and businesses, KDC BUILDERS & KEE DESIGN CONSTRUCT.

Bruce has an interests in; design, building, real-estate and property developments. Each project provides new challenges and appeal, and we look forward to challenges as part of our growth personally and in business. ​Bruce and Kerri strive for personal satisfaction with each project, including; designs, building, renovating, property developments and creating dream homes for people to suit their lifestyle, real estate investments.

We always seek to research and implement new alternative building methods, new building products, and engage in setting up companies with a various trade pool, to provide resources required for property developments, new builds.
